Having grown up in a tiny mountain village on a Scottish island, I graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1996 and Edinburgh College of Art in 2007. I've travelled extensively, lived barefoot and free, and explored various creative realms and fields of study, never compromising my deep vision of freeing human creative potential.
In general, I found the 'art world' highly corrupt, hierarchical, and an offense to real creativity, and so I mostly worked outwith conventional realms.
My colourful international career has involved a radical studio practise as well as visionary work transforming community and landscape and contributing to dialogue around transforming human consciousness. I also write passionately on politics, sacred underlying reality, and how we support shifts into more harmonious, healthy, cooperative and fulfilling rhythms of work and life.
I run a magical Arthouse in a previously-abandoned medieval quarter of an Italian hill town. I hold the keys to the city for having brought it to global attention, and several other awards for my art and spiritual values, projects and social entrepreneurship.
My art is in collections around the world, including a large body of work in Glasgow Women's Library.

I also run an active Patreon campaign, and work one-on-one with guests via Vacation With An Artist.
